Congratulations, I think you are doing a wonderful job on your build. I really like your grille and it’s always is exciting when the engine is put in for a fitting. I think Zach could be a top rate navigator. He is a very good flag waver already .You and rpeek keep having fun.
@stovebolt50 Thank You! It’s it’s cool.. ‘Preciate you watchin’..
THis is a 100% great vid. I can remember being young hanging out with my uncle and dad while they wrenched around in the garage on rods. Great to see a youngster actually waving an American flag too. Fantastic.
hey mike….where’s the whiskers?? you clean up real nice !! i’m still offering you the two inline sixes if you want them for absolutely no cost to you. just come down and take ‘em away!…!one’s a 1951 gmc 228 w/ granny low 4 speed and the other is a 1954 chevy truck w/ 4speed hydramatic trans…..perfect for your project…a two fer !
i have the same truck!!
@shartne Mike it does look like a cool rat rod. I will be glad to see you get it done.
@shartne
Cool project Mike keep it up. Check out our 36 Dodge Rat Rod its pretty cool. What color is it going to be?
That’s gonna be one cool lookin’ Truck. Cute kid.
cute kid, hope that kid turns out to be a future hotrodder
the wood stack underneath the engine is exatcly what i just made in the weekend with a 3.5ton truck,i was soposed to pull one engine out on a mercedes and build another to put in but some dumb smock stole some iron and the engine mounts from it so i brced it like that and he took it to work and it held up pretty good ha ha , we loved it
Future rat rodder there!
Cute kid. ^^ Starting him out the right way! I bet he’ll learn a ton around you two.
@shartne Aw what’s a rat rod without a few dents.. hahaha
@shartne If you put some 700 15s on the front it will raise way up.
I think that three inches is going be too little clearance. It will destroy that grill if you leave it that way.
awesome!
I’ve watched this build from it’s beginnings in the snow and mud to now. I’m really enjoying this guys. It is going to be awesome.
are you gonna have to worry about airsickness in that ride?? NOT!!
might be low enuff for sure!!
lookin’ great!!
wish i had a helper like that!! they do not stay that size long enuff, wish they stayed like that for twenty years, overnite their grown, out of the house, and married w/ college education and a job!
Looking forward to the first start.
I can almost hear it.
looks great love the ride hight is perfect
Nice stance, but won’t it be higher once the bigger tires are on? It’s too bad that it wasn’t going to have short wheels/tires like that when finished.
That boy must have a good looking grandma
get a trans in there and it will go lower to the ground just a little
zac for mayor
